this one was taken about 8:25 pm, I was standing on the hill above our house, I mostly focused on the sky that's why the bottom is all blurry. We have been having some very nice weather lately, with blue sky and a little bit of wind.

Hey Grandpa, here is a couple pics of some of Jacobs welding, these are brackets to help hold up some counter tops, I didn't get to take any pictures of any other welding before it all got painted. :(
Hope you all liked those. my camera hasn't been working (the video side), it wont let me put up videos at all, so I'll have to look into that.

Do you guys ever make throwing knives with your welding? It's hard to get it balanced I bet.

we haven't been throwing very many knifes lately, but we will probly start that when it gets a litle bit warmer, we cant really make them because of the ballance thing and we need to get better at cutting straiter edges instead of more jagged edges,

ReplyDeleteWe loved your new pictures. Grandpa said to tell Jacob that his welding look really great! You guys make him proud! He also said that you won't get straight edges for knives by cutting them -- you need to grind them with the grider. He's anxious to show you some more -- how long do you want your knives & he'll bring some metal and show you how to do them,
