As many of you now know, Jacob and I (like my grammar?) flew over to my Grandma and Grandpa's house for four days.
Let me tell you a bit about it, we arrived Sunday afternoon at the airport, , It was our third time on a plane, but it was still neat to look out the window and see all the fields way down below us.
Grandma and Grandpa picked us up and took us to their house. The next two days we went kayaking in the morning and stayed at the house in the afternoon, mostly because it was around 105 the whole time we were there. :)
We had a lot of fun kayaking (THANKS GRANDMA AND GRANDPA) one day we ate lunch on the water. Now I had a good video which I was going to put on here but for some reason it (or any other ones) won't upload to blogger. :(
On our third day in Portland we went to a army surplus store and I got a army jacket for airsoft, Jacob already had one, we also looked at gas masks but they where kinda thin and weird looking so we passed on those.
On the fourth day we prepared to leave and went to a theater to watch Night of the Museum 2 which we liked.
Our trip back was an adventure, in which we ALMOST DIED just kidding, well kinda kidding.
So about thirty miles from Pendleton we stopped for gas and a burger when Grandpa and I noticed something leaking from under the truck so grandpa crawled under and found that the brake fluid was leaking out.
So to make a long story short we had to drive to this other town between us and Pendleton where there was a toyota store..
So when we got to the toyota place we found out they didn't have the part.
But after making a bunch of calls the guy pulled some strings he said they could get it friday (the next day).
We called Dad and after three hours he picked up Jacob, Grandma and me and took us home while Grandpa stayed there in a motel.
It turned out that they needed two parts in order for the brakes to work, so my grandpa rented a car and drove to our house where they watched us while mom and dad went on a vacation at the beach. *whew*
Today we have been working in the backyard in order that it will be ready to have grass soon.
