Into the Unknown

At least to me.

The following was written around 8:30 Monday night.

I am pretty much done with all my school work (I have a chapter or two in economics I'm still doing) which is kind of a new feeling for me because I have never graduated before.

On Sunday the elders had me and another graduate come up and a bunch of families came up and prayed for us, which was really neat. After church almost everyone in our church went to a park and we had a barbecue. It was a lot of fun, we played basketball, spun the Frisbee, played football, and talked the afternoon away.

Both sets of grandparents came for the weekend, so we have been doing different things with them. I went on a 39 mile bike ride with my Grandpa Jim, which was really fun! Then today we went to the botanical gardens down in Boise with my Grandma and Grandpa Miller. (my other grandparents had to head back to Portland today) Then Dad, Grandpa Jack, Jacob and me, all played poker for a while while eating the hottest chips I've had in a long time, well actually only Jacob and I ate them. :)

The  following was written around 7:30 Tuesday morning.

On Wednesday is my first class so I'm a little nervous and a lot excited. There is only one class this week then next week I'll be doing classes Mon-Wed

Jacob and I have been doing a bunch of demo work for our Dad in a house he owns down in Caldwell. It is coming along fairly smoothly, we can't do to much else right now because it needs to be painted first, which I think will happen sometime this week.

Today Grandma and Grandpa Miller will be heading back to Portland; I foresee lots of reading for myself today. :)

I get to go to a Broncos Game!!!!!!!! =)

Well it is time to begin the day,

So see ya!

  1. Great recap of the recent happenings in your life Jonathan! Loved our time there -- but it was too short! Hope we can head down again soon. Please keep everyone posted about your EMT classes. I think they sound really exciting and challenging at the same time. Anxiously looking forward to your next post. (Grandpa sure wishes he was with you more to do some riding!)
