Alright Alright, this post is a week late, just be thankful its here...
So, what happened in twenty-ten?
Hmn...
I think I will tell you about it some other time, because right now I'm drawing a blank page from the printer.
Just kidding, as usual.
Last year was filled with fun things and boring things, hard things and easy things.
I just can't remember any of them.
Today I...
I'm rambling, I could type sense if Jacob was in here yelling at me, but he isn't.
Last year I:
Got my drivers permit and hit about two cars in a week.
Went hunting and we saw a black bear and Jacob bagged a nice buck!
Rode my bike a lot.
Gained a new sister!
Entered my senior year of High-school.
Started thinking seriously about what career I want to pursue.
Had a great time playing flag-football with Jacob!
Also had a great time playing Basketball!
Read through half the Bible. (I should be able to finish it this year)
Went camping up at McCall ID.
This isn't even half of the things I did last year but I don't want to long of a post. (jokes take up a lot of space)
Now, here are some things I hope to do in this coming year.
Grow much more in my walk with God.
Get my license and not crash into anything or anyone.
Do lots of biking.
Have a good basketball season.
Decide what exactly I want to do for a living.
If we go hunting, I want to get my first deer.
Finish reading through the Bible.
Again those are just a few of the things I would like to do this year.
Lets get back to the present, unfortunately my birthday isn't for a while so I can't foresee any in the near future.
Tuesday we had our first Basketball game, which we won. It was a really close game, we went into overtime and then finally pulled out with the win, the finial score was 49-47.
In Tuesdays game I did something to my back, which made me have to sit out of the game that happened earlier tonight, that game was great game!
We had four people missing from the varsity so we brought out our JV players, who did GREAT!
That game was also really close, but we pulled out with the win again, I think that was one of the most exciting games I've ever been too.
I am hoping to get my license in the next couple weeks so I have been driving alot, I have made a couple mistakes but only one could have ended in an accident.
Okay, Maybe two.
Make that three.
Actually... I better stop my Dad might read this.
Jacob has been taking some really neat pictures lately but he won't let me put them on here so... uh... yeah.
It has been SO cold here lately, getting down to around ten degrees a couple nights ago.
It hasn't snowed recently but we still have a leftover snow hanging around from sometime in early December.
Well it getting later and later so...
Jonathan Miller, signing off. ;)
Now, I know that this new background doesnt really fit the name, but I dont really care. I like the picture. =)
ReplyDeleteJonathan, remember your grandma & grandpa reads this post too so be careful about what you say about near misses!!!! You will be a great driver - it's the other guys we worry about. Love your goals and that cute little Jennifer. Grandpa can't wait to come -- in a couple of hours actually.
ReplyDeleteThanks for finally posting -- love your musings on your life!
What were you doing to hit two cars in one week? Driving on ice? I need to get another permit I got mine two years ago and didn't get enough hours to get a license. Mostly the problem we had was remembering to let me drive. I need to have 100 hours of driving practice before I can get a license under 18. Once 18 though I don't need those hours, though it is still best to have them.
ReplyDeleteWe have some leftover snow here too. It fell two weeks ago on Wednesday. Right now a cold east wind is blowing and freezing everything up. I am glad we don't have any Chickens to get water for. It was very hard to get them water when we had weather like this a few years ago.
What career are you considering? I am looking at web design right now and I have thought about bike repair, electrical work, and I can't remember what else right now. :|
Have a great day,B
Well, to tell the truth I was actually trying to scare my Grandma; in reality I almost hit two cars, but not quite. lol
ReplyDeleteHere in Idaho if you are under 17 then you have to have so many hours before you could take the test for a license.
I was considering becoming a policeman but after learning some more about them I switched to fireman, I can go on a ride along at fire department when I turn 18 so right now I have been looking into what schooling I'll need to have.
G2g start school, You have a great day too! =)
