Luke 2:1-21

"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those
with whom he is pleased!"

Luke 2:14

Because of this event, God becoming a man and living with us and then dying for us and taking all our sin on him, we can have peace. A peace that doesn't rest on where we've been or whats happening at the moment, but on the love God has for us.

Lord God I pray for my family and friends today, that you would fill their hearts with your peace and joy, knowing that you have saved us. I pray that we would live our lives for you and that you would continue to sanctify us and lead us on the narrow way. Thank you for this wonderful day and for all my family and friends, and please let us not just think about your coming once a year,  let us think about it and thank you for it all the time, becuase without you coming and dying we would still be slaves to sin. Thank you! Amen.
